Have a taste for antiquing? Spend the day in Camden's downtown Antique and Arts District uncovering unique treasures. There are six malls and numerous boutiques for browsing antiques, original artwork and collectibles. Either admire or make a splurge purchase of fine 18th century furniture reproductions and originally designed furniture made by one of Camden's four finest classic woodworkers.
Camdenites love good food. There are casual and fine dining options to please the most discriminating of taste buds. Southern Living Magazine has featured a number of local restaurants including The Mill Pond, Sam Kendall's, Crescent Grill, Indigo Jones and the Old Armory Steakhouse. In Camden, it's possible to eat gourmet food without a reservation, long wait or struggle to find a parking spot (that is, unless it's the eve of The Colonial Cup!).
Camden is home to the only five-star restaurant in South Carolina. The Mill Pond. A remarkable dining experience to savor.
