Tell me about your Family Pets

[ No Comments ] Posted on 07.13.08 under Uncategorized

What are your family pets? I am a multi cultural family with 2 cats, Mr. Jingles and Whiskers. And of course I also live with the best Jack Russell in the world, Pearl who is now seven. We recently added a family member since I am having that empty nest syndrome with all my children either in College or heading that way. A very adorable Irish Jack Russell Shortie. Her name is Idgy and very adorable. I am not sure she will make the best Jack Russell ever list, but we are working on it. My only horse left has beeen away at College with my daughter, and has just recently come back to Camden to live. Her name is Cali a.k.a Calendar Girl a very lovely Dutch Warmblood mare. Please share your pets with me. Cottesmore is very animal friendly and one of our builders has very wonderful Labs that they hunt and field Trail with. I look forward to hearing from you all

Jammin in July

[ No Comments ] Posted on 07.13.08 under Uncategorized

The month of July has been fun a great time for family and friends here in Camden. On the 4th many families gathered at Lake Wateree for the annual Fireworks display. I was on the lake in my friends boat. We had a terrific view of the fireworks from the water. Now this weekend has been the annual Jammin in July Celebration at Historic Camden. Good music, local food flare, and fun was had by all.

Cottesmore & Community

Two weeks ago, one of Camden’s local trainers Ms. Penny Elliott had a devestating car collision. Her mom was killed in the accident and Penny suffered a broken neck and a broken leg along with many bumps and bruises. With no health insurance and the need to continue to run her lesson and boarding business, Cottesmore plans to host a fundraiser for Penny in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned for updates. If any of you know Penny, please feel free to leave a note here for her and we will be sure to get it to her. Thanks.

Our first home is coming along quite nicely! It is going to be a beautiful 4,600 sq. ft. estate. The house is being built on lot 22. We are very excited to see the finished product.

For those of you who have received the information packet, please let us know the style of home or land features you are interested in and we are happy to point you in the direction that best fits your needs.  I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!
